Hurriyat (G) Protest Against The "Inhuman Treatment" Of Detainees | KNO

Srinagar, November 24 (KN0) : All parties Huriyat conference on Friday held a protest at Hyderpora in Srinagar against the "inhuman treatment" of detainees and demanded their immediate release.

The protests were led by Hakim Ab Rashid, Mohd Yusuf Naqash, Bilal Sidiqee, Imtiyaz Ahmad Shah, Syed Mohd Shafi, Bashir Ahmad Irfani, Molvi Bashir Ahmad Qureshi, Mohd Shafi Lone, Mohd Yasin Ataie, Kh Firdous, Zamrooda Habib, Yasmeen Raja, Mudasir Nadvi, Syed Imtiyaz Hyder and impressed human rightist organisations for their cognizance and asked to use its good office for their immediate release. Bashir Ahmad Qureshi in his address said that prisoners are facing immense hardships and no proper medical treatment is provided to them. Referring to falling heath of Shabir Ahmad Shah, Peer Saif ullah, Altaf Ahmad Shah, Raja Meraj u Din Kalwal, Ayaz Akbar, Shahid ul Islam, Nayem Ahmad Khan and Farooq Ahmad Dar, Qureshi said that Saif Ullah has been diagnosed for brain tumour and his condition is deteriorating with every passing day. He warned administration of dire consequences if any untoward happened to detainees (KNO)
